A combination of CHIN 481 and 483. Selected readings from the May Fourth Era to the present. Not to be taken concurrently with any of the following CHIN_V 400-level language courses: CHIN_V 441, 443, 444, 445, 447, 448, 435, 437. Credit will be granted for only one of CHIN_V 484 or both CHIN_V 481, CHIN_V 483. Recommended pre-requisites: one of CHIN_V 313, CHIN_V 314, CHIN_V 317, CHIN_V 318, CHIN_V 323, CHIN_V 437, CHIN_V 443, CHIN_V 444, CHIN_V 447, CHIN_V 448.
