The development of economic thought from Aristotle to Adam Smith, focusing on the conceptual foundations of economics, particularly the problems of value, distribution, and economic growth. Credit will be granted for only one of ECON_V 318 or PHIL_V 362 Prerequisite: One of ECON_V 101, ECON_V 310, ECON_O 101 and one of ECON_V 102, ECON_V 311, ECON_O 102. Equivalency: PHIL_V 362.
