The development of economic thought from David Ricardo up to the present including such figures as Malthus, Mill, Jevons, and Keynes, focusing on the conceptual foundations of economics, particularly the problems of value, distribution and growth. Credit will be granted for only one of ECON_V 319 or PHIL_V 363.
