Biogeographic concepts in understanding responses in ecosystems to environmental change at global, regional, and local scales. Conservation issues such as the loss of biodiversity and endangered species. This course is recommended for students who have credit in one of BIOL_V 121, BIOL_V 230, GEOS_V 102, GEOB_V 207, GEOS_V 207, FRST_V 201. [3-2*-0] Credit will be granted for only one of GEOB_V 307 or GEOS_V 307. Equivalency: GEOB_V 307.
