Introduction to historical practices in global history and their applications to the study of human societies across Africa and the Americas up to 1500 CE. Includes introduction to historical analysis of primary source texts, materials, images, and oral traditions. Credit will only be granted for one of HIST_V 218 or HIST_V 101.
