History of the Holocaust

A study of the systematic attempt to destroy European Jewry during the Nazi regime, 1933- 1945. Topics of special importance include: the motivations and behaviour of the perpetrators; the reactions of the victims; the roles of bystanders. Credit will be granted for only one of HIST_V 348 or HIST_V 441. Equivalency: HIST_V 441.
