Advanced Modern Japanese: Conversation and Composition I

Improvement of speaking and writing skills through readings and discussions on a variety of social and cultural issues; emphasis on appropriate language use in formal situations. It is strongly recommended that students plan to complete both JAPN_V 402 and JAPN_V 403 within one year. Credit will be granted for only one of JAPN_V 402 or JAPN_V 302. Recommended pre-requisites: one of JAPN_V 213, JAPN_V 251, JAPN_V 323, JAPN_V 361.
