Analysis of airfoils and wings. Potential flow, thin airfoil theory, lifting line analysis of wings. Predicting viscous drag. Numerical methods for analysis and design of airfoils and wings. Subsonic, transonic, supersonic, and hypersonic flow. Credit will be granted for only one of MECH_V 581 or MECH_V 481.
