Introductory Sanskrit I

3 credits

Basic vocabulary and most important grammatical features of classical Sanskrit. Useful to students of South Asian history, culture, languages, philosophies, and religions, and of linguistics and classics. No prior proficiency in Sanskrit required. Credit will be granted for only one of SANS 301 or SANS 100 or SANS 300.
